/about

Hi there, I am Aleksandar, Linux-focused Support/Infrastructure Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on production experience, including a year of 2nd-level support for banking and payment-institution clients. Experienced with RHEL-family (CentOS, AlmaLinux, Fedora, Red Hat), Debian-family (MX Linux, Ubuntu, Pop!_OS…) but in love with Arch. Installed and maintained NGINX/Apache, and MySQL/MariaDB. Has administered mixed Windows/Linux environments with Active Directory, Nagios monitoring and VMware virtualization. Brings a security and process mindset from two years of structured SW/HW security testing at a leading automotive industry sector company, working to documented procedures with distributed teams. Aiming to grow into Linux infrastructure for the financial sector, with a focus on RHEL, security hardening and automation.

This site is my personal reference for commands, tools, and administration notes that I use and revisit often.

Outside of technology, I’m passionate about street workout, fitness and road cycling. Both help me stay focused, disciplined, and curious — the same mindset I bring to learning and working with technology.
